De la même façon que les économies asiatiques ont connu une croissance économique exceptionnelle ces dernières décennies, certains pays d’Asie ont pris récemment la tête du classement dans les enquêtes internationales comme PISA. Issu d’un colloque international organisé en juin 2014 au CIEP, l’ouvrage s’appuie sur les interventions de 45 chercheurs et experts émanant de 18 pays, et de plusieurs disciplines. Ce riche ensemble de contributions interroge le « miracle » éducatif asiatique, met en évidence les tensions à l’oeuvre et aussi les ressorts des succès observés. Cette perspective comparatiste inédite montre que toute ré exion sur l’avenir de l’éducation dans le monde passe, aussi, par l’Asie.
